Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kick-off to summer and with that comes festivals and fairs starting with one Sunday in Berrien Springs.

More than 30 artists displayed their work for show and for sale at the Fourth Annual Wine and Art Fair at Lemon Creek Winery.

Guests browsed jewelry, paintings, and stained glass and had the chance to sample countless wines grown locally.

There was also live music but the real star of the event was the gorgeous weather which brought on the crowds.

“Yeah, it's been awesome. It was actually almost a little too hot yesterday and we had people who'd come in from the beach, they came and had a glass of wine, walked around, bought art, it was great,” Kaitlyn Lemon said.

The event was free and organizers say they plan to make next years even bigger and better.
