Molly Brannigans, a traditional Irish pub and restaurant, celebrated its groundbreaking Thursday at the Heritage Square Shopping Center.
The menu will feature Irish fare, including fish 'n' chips, shepherd's pie and Guinness. Moreover, the 1400 square feet of outdoor patio space makes the restaurant one of the largest patios in the area.
"There's great Irish heritage here and the developers are going to capitalize on that. All the goods and decorations, everything is straight from Ireland. It’s really a chance to celebrate that Irish heritage and for folks to come and enjoy true Irish cuisine," said Mishawaka mayor Jeff Rea.
The restaurant is scheduled to open in the middle of winter.
