BH financial manager to hold meeting Thursday night

The man in charge of getting Benton Harbor's struggling finances back on track is sitting down with the public to answer questions about his plans.

According to our reporting partners at WSJM, Joseph Harris will meet with the public Thursday at the Benton Harbor High School Performing Center at 6 p.m.

Harris is Benton Harbor's new state-appointed emergency financial manager.

He's been trying to sort of out the city's financial problems for more than a month. At the meeting, he'll listen to public concerns and answer questions.
