Buses to continue in St. Joe

Michigan students do not head back to class until after Labor Day, but thanks to a new one-year contract the students at St. Joseph High School will be able to ride the bus this year.

According to our partners at WSJM, an agreement was reached at Monday night's school board meeting.

School leaders announced this past March that the high school bus routes would be cancelled in an effort to save money, but interim superintendent Al Skibbe and others agreed to take less money in order to help the district get through tough economic times.
