One of the year's biggest auctions in Shipshewana gets underway Friday morning and this year, organizers are extra thankful the show will go on.
Fire damaged the historic livestock barn where the auction is held. Fortunately no people or animals were inside when it happened on Sunday night and it wasn’t enough damage to keep the sale from happening.
The horse auction gets started at 9 a.m. morning in the livestock barn. There will also be a tack sale going on all day in the miscellaneous building. To learn more about the auction, click on the Big Red Bar.
