Kids can learn what it's like down on the farm this weekend by heading to the annual Ag Days event at the St. Joe County Fairgrounds.
Ag Days has been a part of South Bend for nearly 30 years now, and features interactive, agricultural-themed areas aimed at teaching kids where their food and clothing comes from.
A whole range of activities are featured, from milking cows, to picking carrots, and even picking eggs from the hen house. Children also get an up-close look at farm animals such as cattle, sheep, hogs, horses and chickens.
The event is free all weekend. It was held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will continue Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
