A blaze last month that badly damaged a Marathon gas station in Plymouth looked suspicious to police. Now, they have the business owners behind bars for arson.
Police say Maranda Taylor and Edward Strauss leased the Marathon station on North Michigan Street in Plymouth and bought an insurance policy on their merchandise just three days before the blaze.
Investigators determined it was arson that caused the fire after receiving several tips. They soon arrested Taylor and Strauss for arson and insurance fraud.
