Goshen's clerk-treasurer charged with OWI
Elkhart County, IN According to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth, 42-year-old Tina Bontrager was taken to jail this past weekend on a misdemeanor charge of operating while intoxicated.

Goshen's clerk-treasurer has been arrested for drunk driving.
According to our reporting partners at the Elkhart Truth, 42-year-old Tina Bontrager was taken to jail this past weekend on a misdemeanor charge of operating while intoxicated.
She was arrested early Sunday morning after an Elkhart County sheriff's department deputy pulled her over on U.S. 33. She allegedly failed a field sobriety test and had a blood-alcohol level of 0.12. The legal limit is 0.08.
Bontrager, a republican, was elected Goshen clerk-treasurer in 2003 and ran unopposed for re-election in 2007. Her term runs through 2011.
