An assistant football coach at Penn High School has been arrested for vandalizing his ex-girlfriend's home.
St. Joseph County Police say Ryan Randolph was arrested around 4:00 Sunday morning on criminal mischief charges. He allegedly threw an object in the bedroom window of his ex-girlfriend's home on Barberry Drive in Osceola and slashed three of the four tires on her current boyfriend's car.
He was arrested a short time later at a traffic stop.
According to PHM spokeswoman Teresa Carroll, Randolph is an assistant freshman football coach and assistant boy's track coach.
Randolph's ex-girlfriend tells police she and Randolph have a child together and she had a restraining order against him, but has since lifted it because of their child.
Randolph bonded out of jail Sunday morning.
