Indiana Governor Will Run For Second Term

Governor Mitch Daniels announced Saturday that he will run for a second term. The Indiana governor made the announcement outside of Butler University's Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Hundreds, including many wearing green, gathered at the same spot he launched his successful 2004 run against then-incumbent Joe Kernan.

"I will ask the people of Indiana to be rehired in the second and final term in the service of the state," said Daniels.

Daniels is starting on what many people say will be a very expensive campaign.

Both political parties expect to raise between 15 and 20 million dollars.
