A 17-year-old girl called police with now two fake reports. After this one, she was arrested.
South Bend Police say just before 2:00 Friday morning, the teen called to report that a man had been shot in the stomach at her home in the 600 block of S. Ironwood Dr.
When they got there, police realized nobody was shot. Police say the same thing happened back on December 14. The same girl called and reported that men with guns just broke into her house.
When police responded that night, no guns, no suspects, no crime.
NewsCenter 16 learned then, the 17-year-old lives in the house with another teen but no adults.
Police also said her mother lives in North Liberty.
The teenager was arrested for false informing early Friday morning and taken into custody at the JJC.
Two South Bend men were also arrested on the same charges.
18-year-old Davious Kalber and 19-year-old Branton Rios are being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
Friday morning's incident was the 12th time in 2009 police have been called to this house.
