Hoosier Graduation Rates

With respect to high school graduation, students in the Hoosier state escaped the tardy bell.

The "diplomas count" report shows that almost 71% of Indiana high school grads get their diplomas on time, which is better than the nationwide average of 69%.

The report also showed 41.6% of African American Hoosier students graduated, which was 12% less than the national average.

Moreover, about 7% less Hispanic students graduated in Indiana than the national average.
