Michiana Murder Case Makes National Headlines

It is a Michiana murder case that has made national headlines and now the Jeff Pelley case will be featured on 20-20.

In July of 2006, Pelley was convicted on four counts of murder for the 1989 deaths of his father, step mother, and two step sisters in Lakeville.

Prosecutors say Pelley committed the murders so he could attend his high school prom.

They say Pelley had been grounded at the time by his father, who was a minister.

Back in February, the program interviewed local police detectives who worked on the case.

The segment will air Friday night on ABC at 10:00.
