Police Magnets

The flags have returned to full staff, but two brothers want to make sure the community continues to remember Corporal Nick Polizzotto and other fallen heroes.

John Hsieh is just 16 years-old, but he and his brother put in 1,500 dollars, of their own money, to purchase 500 “fallen heroes” magnets.

Now, they are selling the magnets to raise money for the Fallen Heroes fund.

“No one really had the funds to just start it, so me and my brother decided to put the funds in ourselves. We figured we'll get some of it back,” said Hsieh.

Corporal Britton Odle, of the South Bend police, said, “I was actually very thrilled and very impressed that these kids would want to put their savings to help start something that would benefit fallen police officers.”

If you are “stuck” on the idea of picking up your own magnet, you can check them out at the websites listed below.

The magnets cost 10 dollars each.
