Wal-Mart celebrated a special milestone in South Bend.
A cook-out was held on Thursday to mark their 20-year partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network.
Each year, nearly 3,000 families in St. Joseph County turn to Riley Children’s Hospital for help.
The south side store was one of 22 Wal-Mart’s in the country to participate in the anniversary celebration, complete with a piñata party, clowns and fun and games for the kids.
Several children who benefited from treatments at Riley were on hand for Thursday’s celebration.
One of them, Isaac Stansbury, received a free Playstation and video games, courtesy of Wal-Mart.
