He's accused of stealing millions from his father-in-law's Powerball jackpot.

Thursday a Michiana car dealer, Samuel Sweeden bonded out of the Cass County jail.

He was escorted out by two bondsmen, and would not stop for comment.

As we have been reporting, Samuel Sweeden was arrested Wednesday, at his home.

Two Samson car dealerships were raided during the investigation.

He is accused of taking two million dollars from his father-in-law, and Kansas Powerball winner, Felix Kane.

Sweeden’s family tells us Kane willingly handed over his finances to Samuel, and claims Kane has pending litigation with Merrill Lynch as well.

“In any criminal case that we deal with, there are family issues that are routine. That happens in almost every single case, my job is to see if there is a criminal offense, and we did that in this case,” Prosecuting attorney, Victor Fitz tells us.

Sweeden put up 25 thousand dollars to get out of jail.
