Memorial Day ‘Mud Bog’ Event

South Bend Sod Busters are holding their annual Memorial Day 'Mud Bog' event.

Dozens of monster trucks, some as tall as fifteen feet, will be tearing up the mud to support the Center for Hospice.

There will be games for the kids, a cash crawl, and lots of food.

Those involved say it is not only a fun event, but one that helps a deserving charity.

Jim Renner of the South Bend Sod Busters says, “We've been working with them for a couple years and we know that all the money stays here locally in the community so individuals coming to the event are local citizens and community members so they realize it is something they're giving back to people here in the community that have the most need."

The event is at 10 a.m. Sunday, where the Toll Road and Sycamore intersect in South Bend.

Admission is ten dollars, but kids twelve and under are free.
