Hoosier State Is Getting Electronic Traffic Tickets

Electronic traffic tickets will soon be handed out in the Hoosier state.

That is under a law enacted by the Indiana General Assembly.

If you get a ticket, it will be printed on paper, but everything else will be electronic.

That includes a hand held device used by the police officer all the way through the court system.

Electronic tickets are designed to save time and money, and eliminate errors.

Police could begin using the system by July 1st.
