Goshen police say they'll have an increased presence at Goshen high school Friday. This, after violent threats were posted on one student's MySpace webpage.

School officials tell us a student posted that web threat was a way to recruit gang members. Other students saw the post and immediately told authorities.

Rumors of threats surfaced at Goshen High School after a fight broke out on this field last week.
This week, the school sent home letters to parents about a threat that would happen at school.
Despite rumors to the contrary, school officials tell us the threat and the fight aren’t related.

“It wasn’t the initial fight those two boys are back in school they’re attending school, they're out of this trouble,” Dr. Bruce Stahly, the Superintendent of Schools explains.

Goshen police tell us they will have an increased presence at Goshen High School Friday, and will check in periodically.
