High gas prices have folks fired up.
Just this morning the American Automobile Association reported that the national average for regular unleaded is now $2.99 a gallon.
Here is a look at pump prices in our area.
Prices range anywhere from $2.99 to $3.19 a gallon.
That is still not as bad as prices in California.
Drivers there are paying $3.43 a gallon.
Despite the hike, demand is still increasing.
Prices are climbing with refineries not pumping out enough product.
And experts say it is going to get worse before it gets better as demand increases this summer.
