In tonight's 16 focus on education, cuts in state funding could be devastating for the Benton Harbor school district.
Superintendent Paula Dawning tells our partners at WSJM radio the cuts could actually be $185 per student.
Not the $125 Governor Granholm announced last week.
Dawning says a conference later this month will determine the actual amount.
The cuts are set to take effect June 30th, if the state legislature does not do anything.
