Indiana Conservation officials are confident a body found this morning in Bass Lake is the body of a helicopter pilot who crashed there 10 days ago.
Officials tell NewsCenter 16 the body was found this morning by a fisherman working with the Indiana Conservation search team.
Bruce Groen was flying the helicopter when it crashed on April 22nd.
A passenger in the helicopter, Stephanie Nottke, also died in the crash.
The man’s body was pulled from Bass Lake this morning, about 300 yards from the crash site.
The body has not been officially identified, but we're told the man was wearing the same clothes described by Bruce Groen's family.
Conservation Officials say an official identification will be released later.
