Clean Up Efforts Are Made After Tornado Damage

Residents in four states including Indiana are cleaning up damage from tornados and high winds.

The storms buffeted parts of Indiana, Tennessee, Illinois, and Ohio Thursday.

Tornadoes touched down in Tennessee, Illinois, and Indiana.

The National Weather Service confirms that two separate tornados touched down in LaPorte County.

The twister damaged homes, uprooted trees, and knocked out power.

During Thursday's storm high winds tossed a sheriff's department patrol car.

The car was picked up, spun around in the air, and was thrown about 150 feet, landing on it's front bumper.

Amazingly, detective Shayna Mireles escaped with only bumps and scrapes.
