A tense situation in South Bend Friday morning is over after as many as 15 police officers surrounded a house on the city's south side after five suspects invaded a home.
It happened on 1100 East Indiana Avenue after two o’clock Friday morning in South Bend.
Police tell us the 12 residents in the home were able to escape, but the suspects refused to leave.
After some time, the suspects gave themselves up to police, and they were taken into custody.
Police have not released the names of the suspects, but we do know two of them are juveniles.
Police also recovered an assortment of weapons including, handguns, a knife and duct tape.
Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident.
