Michigan’s Budget Battles

In Michigan, lawmakers are trying to find nearly a billion dollars to make up for a budget gap.

A new national report suggests Michigan’s crisis is amongst the worst in the nation.

One of the problems the national conference of state legislatures found was related to Michigan possible cuts in school payments.

Other plans to find the $940 million include a services tax, and decreases in medical payments.
