Mishawaka’s Mayor Race Is Underway

Over in Mishawaka, candidates are also getting ready for the primary elections.

On the GOP side, incumbent mayor Jeff Rea is running un-opposed for re-election.

He is just finishing his first term as the princess city's mayor.

Two candidates are vying for the democratic nomination.

Dona hall is again going for the mayor's office.

She ran twice against former mayor Bob Buetter.

Mike Hayes is the other candidate.

He is a former Penn Township Trustee as well as firefighter and city councilman.
