A fallen soldier arrives back home in Michiana, 22-year-old army specialist Jason Beadles died last week in Iraq.
He was a Laporte native who was electrocuted in a non-combat accident and this morning, Beadles' body arrived at South Bend Regional Airport.
When it arrived today, there was a flag-draped coffin being placed into a hearse, and soon after a military escort followed the fallen hero back to Laporte.
Visitation will take place on Friday from 2 until 9 p-m at the Essling Funeral Home in Laporte.
Beadles' funeral will be at 11am on Saturday in the Laporte High School Auditorium.
