Minimum Wage Bill On Its Way To The Governor

Good news for Hoosier's making minimum wage.

A minimum wage bill is on the way to Governor Mitch Daniels' desk.

The House voted to accept the Senate's version of the bill, which would link the state wage to the federal level.

A bill pending before congress would raise the federal minimum wage from $5.15 to $7.25 an hour over the next two years.

If that occurs, and Daniels signs the bill into law, Indiana's state rate would rise to the same level and match any future federal increases.
