Aspirin May Prevent Cancer

An Aspirin a day could keep cancer away, but do not expect your doctor to start recommending the drug just yet.

Researchers have found a link between a daily dose of adult strength Aspirin for more than 5 years and the reduction of certain types of cancer.

The study followed over 146-thousand men and women for ten years researchers documented their aspirin use and their rates of cancer.

They found a 15-percent drop in overall cancer rates among men, specifically; there was a drop in colon and prostate cancers.

Further studies are needed to see if the risks of every day Aspirin use like intestinal bleeding or stroke outweigh the possible cancer fighting benefits.
