A local soldier killed in Iraq is on his way home to Michiana.
22-year-old Jason Beadles is a LaPorte native who joined the army.
Last week Beadles was killed in Iraq, though few details about the cause of death were given.
The fallen soldier will return home Wednesday just before 11:00 A.M. to south Bend's Regional Airport.
His visitation will take place on Friday, from 2:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Essling Funeral Home in LaPorte.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday in the LaPorte High School auditorium.
