Connections Between Kidnappings Could Give New Answers

Police are investigating a connection between the disappearances of a Benton Harbor boy in 2001 and the man accused of kidnapping two Missouri boys found earlier this year.

12-year-old Steven Kraft vanished in February 2001 while walking two dogs near his Benton Harbor home.

Tuesday the head of a Missouri task force working on the Michael Devlin case said they are trying to determine if Devlin is connected.

Devlin was arrested in January, after two boys, including one who had been missing for four years, were found in his home.

Benton Township Police tell us they were briefed by the FBI on the possible connection Tuesday morning, but right now there is no indication Devlin and Kraft were ever together.

They say they are still looking into the connection.
