A man is in Memorial Hospital Sunday night after suffering four gunshot wounds-one in his arm, back, side, and possibly head.
The victim's cousin tells Newscenter 16 he was dropping his daughter off at her mother's home at Maple Lane Apartments. It was there, sitting in a white Range Rover, he got shot.
His cousin also told us two young girls, a three and a 10 year old, were in the back seat. Neither are hurt.
The man with the injuries was taken to Memorial Hospital.
Police say he was conscience and talking when taken away from the scene.
Police taped off the area around the apartments and the car.
They are also still searching for the person or people who did it.
Neighbors say they are shocked by this because, they say, crime is not common in the neighborhood.
