Environmental Rally at Notre Dame

Students got together at the University of Notre Dame Saturday to try and get people thinking about global warming.

A group called Students for Environmental Action held a rally called Step it Up 2007.

Their goal is to get congress to require carbon dioxide emissions to be cut by 80% by 2050.

It is a part of a nationwide campaign of 1,000 similar events across the country.

The students say the event is important because climate change is something that affects not only our generation, but every generation after ours.
