Presidential hopeful John McCain was in Michigan Friday.
Friday morning, the Arizona senator met with supporters in Kalamazoo.
Michigan's economy has been hit hard by job losses in the auto industry.
To counter that, McCain proposed establishing programs at community colleges across the country to train displaced workers for other jobs in their communities.
McCain also spoke to a crowd of supporters today telling them he believed that success was possible in Iraq.
In addition to the war and education, McCain also spoke about affordable healthcare.
