Purdue University has hired a forensic investigation firm to help determine how a 19-year-old student got into an electrical utility room and died.
The university hired Houston based Rimkus Consulting Group so they can provide answers about Wade Steffey's death.
The freshman died January 13th, but his body was not found until March 19th.
Officials said he was fatally shocked when he entered a dormitory through an unlocked utility door.
The room contained high-voltage electrical equipment.
Steffey's parents have retained an attorney in anticipation of taking legal action.
