SOUTH BEND, Ind. Two men, who police believe were involved in a robbery at a local 7-Eleven, were arrested Wednesday on a South Shore train headed for Chicago.

The robbery happened Tuesday night at the intersection of Logan and Jefferson, near Bethel College.

South Bend police say two men were arrested in Portage while they were trying to flee to the Windy City.

A woman, who was on the train with them, was also taken in for questioning.

But it's not clear if she had anything to do with the robbery.

Another woman, Aaliyah brown, 19, was arrested Wednesday, and has been identified by police as an accomplice.

Police say she claimed to have been carjacked to create a diversion.

At least one person was held up in the store around midnight, but police tell us that person was not hurt.
