Pinkney Files For Second Mistrial

Reverend Edward Pinkney has filed a motion for a second mistrial after recently being convicted of election fraud.

It all stems from the 2005 recall election against Benton Harbor City commissioner Glenn Yarbrough.

According WSJM, Pinkney says jury coordinator Linda La Porte perjured herself in court.

He says if a mistrial is granted, his lawyers will move to have a new trial outside of Berrien County.

If not, he will appeal his conviction.

Pinkney is scheduled to be sentenced May 14th.
