The Roseland town hall was supposed to re-open today but a sign on the door clearly shows it is still closed.
Town clerk Cheryl Gridley temporarily closed the office last month and sent out a memo accusing Councilman Ted Penn of creating a quote "hostile work environment".
Penn says he wasn't harassing Gridley but only trying to get her to do her work because the office isn't being manned.
Penn says he and council president Charley Shields passed a resolution allowing some money to go towards a new council secretary in order to keep the town going.
Meantime, we are told former council member Dorothy Snyder is keeping up with some of the daily town hall office business, although Penn says that is illegal.
So far, there is no word on when the town hall will re-open.
