Geese Give Guard Eggs at Movies 14

Some protective parents have found an unusual place to bring their young into the world.

Near the parking spaces at Movies 14 in Mishawaka are two guarded geese and employees tell us the geese have been in the parking lot for about a week.

Mom and pop are protecting this nest full of eggs and to get to the job done they are staring down and sometimes chasing off movie-goers who get too close.

Dave Richards who saw the Geese says, "As I got out of my truck. I assumed that the male stood up for protection I would assume and I just walked by and he watched me all the way to the theater...I just kind of watched him as I walked in and he sat back down as soon as I got back inside."

People are not the only ones getting the stare-down because friendly fowl can not even approach without ruffling some feathers.

One seagull got squawked at as it inched closer to this mom-to-be.
