New program keeps addresses confidential for abuse victims

The word home doesn't always offer a sense of security for everyone, especially victims of domestic violence.
The attorney general's office is working to change that. Attorney General Greg Zoeller spoke at the Family Justice Center in South Bend Thursday about the address confidentiality program or ACP.
The program protects victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking by keeping their new addresses confidential.
"The fact that our office ends up being the P.O. Box so that you can hide your address from the people who might be after you, the stalker or whoever else that endangers your life. I think it’s really a life saving program," Attorney General Greg Zoeller said.
