A little snow did not stop kids in the area from hunting for Easter eggs Saturday morning.
Plenty of people came to the Northwest United Methodist church in South Bend exactly for that reason.
The church, on the city's north side hosts the event every year.
Folks also got a pancake breakfast this morning.
Although they had fun finding the colored eggs, the kids admitted it could have been better. “I think it should be warm, sunny, no snow and not raining. Cause that's what it was last year and it was really nice. We had all the games outside, now it's all inside,” says egg hunter, Jacob Parks.
Other kids told NewsCenter 16 the hunt was not the main goal of the day.
Their favorite part was just spending time with family and getting ready for Easter.
