White out conditions Friday night cause accidents throughout the area.
The first accident occurred shortly after 10:00P.M. on the US 20 Bypass in the eastbound lanes just west of State Road 19 in Elkhart County.
We are told seven vehicles in the eastbound lanes were involved and eastbound traffic was diverted.
Police say one person was taken to the hospital, the injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
A second accident occurred a short time later on the US 20 Bypass near Elm Road, in St. Joseph County.
A pickup truck rolled over with two people inside.
Police on the scene say one person was trapped in the truck, and the other was ejected.
One of the passengers in the truck is in critical condition; the other is also on their way to the hospital.
The eastbound lanes from Elm Road exit to the State Road 19 exit are closed until the accidents are cleaned up.
A third accident occurred on Ironwood Drive, just south of the toll road, involving two cars.
No report on injuries.
