Chicken fingers and macaroni & cheese are staples in the diet of a typical American child.

If your kids have allergies they may want to try the so-called "Mediterranean Diet!"

New research suggests it can help fight off respiratory allergies and asthma in children.

The Mediterranean Diet usually includes fish, fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, and olive oil.

Nuts, oranges, apples, and tomatoes, in particular, were found to have a protective effect against wheezing and allergies.
