People who have suffered a mild head injury are more likely to have problems getting a good night sleep.
That is according to new research.
The study found 40 to 65% of patients with a mild brain injury complain of Insomnia.
That lack of sleep can magnify other symptoms of the injury, like headaches, emotional problems, and cognitive skills.
Researchers say a head injury can disrupt a person's ability to move to different stages of the sleep cycle, which can not be cured with a sleeping pill.
