A settlement has been reached in an airplane accident that killed a six-year-old Indiana boy.
Back in 2005, a Southwest Airlines jet skidded off a slippery runway at Chicago's Midway Airport, and slammed into a car on a nearby street.
Six-year-old Joshua Woods was killed.
His parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Southwest and Boeing Company, claiming both companies made mistakes that lead to the accident.
Financial details of the settlement have not been released.
Since the accident, Midway installed a lightweight concrete bed designed to prevent planes from skidding beyond the runway.
