Some Michiana military families are still flying high after the return of South Bend's Company B marines and now an event will help celebrate their homecoming.
A "family day" will take place at the St. Joseph County 4-h Fairgrounds on April 14th.
Marine officials tell us the first half of the event will be for military families only then at 4-o-clock the event will include members of the community who bought raffle tickets.
The money raised from the tickets will go towards a memorial scholarship in the name of Corporal Aaron Seal.
You may remember Seal was killed last fall after being in Iraq for a little more than a month.
