The trial of an 81-year-old woman accused of beating St. Joseph County police officers two years ago, starts Monday.
Police say after two officers came out to Betty Chambers home, and a fight broke out.
Her caregiver, Tom Holleman, was tasered.
Police say Chambers then used her cane to beat the officers.
She is charged with resisting law enforcement and battery resulting in bodily injury.
A lawsuit claims one officer had a concussion while another had a separated shoulder.
Her trial was supposed to start in 2006, but was postponed after jury selection fell through.
A new jury selection and trial will start Monday morning at 10:30.
