High School Students Make Easter Eggstra Special

Some Mishawaka High School students are doing something eggstrodinary for Easter.

Caveman Care dropped off bags of Easter goodies today for children at the Center for the Homeless in South Bend.

On any given day, there are around 50 to 60 kids at the center for the homeless.

Students wanted to do their part of spread some Easter cheer. Mishawaka Sophomore, Jessica Shaw says, "I think it's a good cause, it's fun to do."

Each homeroom at Mishawaka High school sponsored a child ranging from infants to teenagers.

The baskets are filled with all sorts of goodies, including toys, books, and of course, candy.

Mishawaka High School students have dropped off Easter bags for the past six years.
