Worker Trapped In A Sewer Hole

There were some scary moments in Grand Rapids, as a construction worker was trapped inside a 30-foot deep sewer hole.

Two men were working on some kind of water line Friday morning, when a cap blew off.

The cap hit one of the men, temporarily knocking him unconscious.

Emergency crews lowered a flat board and basket down into the hole, and after several minutes, were able to pull the injured man out.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment, no word on his condition.

The other worker was not hurt.
