South Bend's Potawatomi Zoo opened Friday for the 2007 season.
Plenty of kids were out, trying to get a glimpse of the animals.
Potawatomi has two brand new exhibits for visitors to check out, a pair of African Wild Dogs, and some Snow Leopards.
The zoo also has a new interactive program.
"We actually just started our interactive keeper talks and they're scheduled throughout the day and this is an opportunity to interact with your keeper,” said Marcy Dean Development and Marketing Manager, “They'll be at certain exhibits throughout the day and learn about the animals. Ask questions that you may have always wanted to know but never been able to ask."
Zoo prices have gone up this year.
It is now $7 for adults, and children over three and seniors are $5.
